The Tale Of A Fairy - Karl Lagerfeld
The Tale Of A Fairy - FULL VERSION HD - English Version from germaine dulac on Vimeo.
Karl got the movie fever!
Following up "Remember now" from last year, Lagerfeld return to the screen with "The Tale of a Fairy". Just like the previous movie,it's documenting the annual Chanel Cruise collection. When you watch the movie it's almost like you're skipping through a Chanel catalogue.
The movie features a lot of big shot models like Freja Beha, his muze Giabiconi Baptiste, Amanda Harlech and actress Anna Mouglalis. It's very high budget, yet the actors are nothing but models who just sit there and look pretty. But hey, that's the lifestyle, right?
Let's put it short: betrayal, sex, love, money, elegance, gamble ...thats all what you will find underneath a Chanel dress!!

Eastpak x Kris Van Assche
During Paris Fashion Week AW2011-2012 Belgian designer Kris Van Assche presented, obviously, a fantastic collection. People could even catch a glimpse of a very unique collaboration with Eastpak.
Pravda Pressroom invited us to discover The Eastpak KRIS VANASSCHE collection. The ultimate luxury and sophistication wrapped in the well known functionality of the classic Eastpak bags. We found these bags fabulous. I was searching for a thing to buy my boyfriend for his birthday, and this could be definitely it! The leather feels soft and all bags have a metal seal engraved with the two cooperating brands, wich gives it a special touch of fab :)
The Eastpak KRIS VANASSCHE collection is available at selected stores from August 2011. The bags are for sale from € 50, - to € 250.
The bag we loved most, and is the most expensive, is the sportbag/garmentbag for a suit. You'll see in the pictures below how you can unzip the bag into a garmentbag. Totally love it:) It looks amzing!
Love,
Farah.

Balmain Welcomes New Designer Olivier Rousteing
Partly because of Galliano departure at Dior, there is a huge shift in fashionworld. Several French fashion houses exchange their new faces for top designers and Balmain is one of them!
Christophe Decarnin did alot of big things for Balmain but now he got sacked.
Following the departure of Christophe Decarnin, Balmain announced Olivier Rousteing as its new designer for the prêt-à-porter collection for men and women.
Rousteing was already working for Balmain since 2009. He was responsible for the design of women's clothing at Balmain. Earlier he worked for five years for Roberto Cavalli.
For me Rousting looks really young, which I tend to equal with fresh talent. I can't wait to see what this kid has up his sleeve :)
Love,
Farah.

Designer on drugs?
Hi fashionistas!
People come up with the stangest things these days. Sometimes the catwalk is more like a freakshow than a fashionshow. It seems like haute couture is not only about style, but also being outstanding, comming up with something new and creative and at last: it's about how crazy can you get?
Or maybe designers are on drugs:) Seriously, I don't think a lot of people wear thing kind of outfits so I have no idea what kind of profit they make off designing these 'things'.
In the end I think haute couture is nowadays more like modern art. I picked out 8 crazy catwalklooks:
